my recent honeymoon in stornoway was absolutely wonderful. we stayed at a cozy and modern ground-level flat on plantain road that exceeded our expectations in every way. the flat was immaculate and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities we could ask for. lesley, our host, was incredibly welcoming and even left us a thoughtful basket of goodies upon arrival. we will definitely be back!

The common areas were easily accessible for someone like me, and I appreciated the attention to detail in making it comfortable for senior guests. The children working there, especially Lesley, were incredibly helpful and made sure I understood how everything worked. The whole experience was memorable and I am grateful to have stayed here.

Great location for outdoor activities like fishing, canoeing, and cycling. I had a blast hiking and trying my hand at windsurfing nearby. Stornoway Airport was conveniently close. Museum Nan Eilean was a hop, skip, and a jump away.

I would have asked for a better vacation for senior people if there were more organized activities or excursions catered specifically for our age group. It would have been nice to have some gentle exercise classes or guided tours that are paced for older individuals.
